It's Been A While

I realize it has been almost two months since my last blog post. It was just a few days ago I almost deleted the blog completely and having a recent backup I could have deleted then rebuilt it later if I wanted. So why delete it like I have a few times over the 15 years of blogging here and then return? These first few photos were taken early this morning right after I let the hounds inside as they run to their bowls of breakfast kibble.

When taking them I had a impulse feeling that I wanted to blog publicly again so where I am.

A Good Heart A Year Later

It would be one year this coming Thursday when I had my aortic valve replaced. By a year ago today I had two unexpected/unplanned procedures ... a pacemaker after my heart block on the operating table and a few days before an LAD that was 98% blocked requiring a stent.

Watson Is In Good Shape

It was a day or two after my last post here that Watson miraculously returned to normal. His tail was upright as he trotted from the bedroom to the patio door to go outside with the rest of the hounds and Ava to start the day while I poured their kibble.

Watson Back To Almost Normal

Watson nibbled some boiled skinless chicken thighs on Sunday afternoon and by Monday morning was trotting to the mudroom for his breakfast. I gave him half his normal amount of soaked in warm water kibble and he wented more, so I gave him his other half. Monday ate again at lunch.

It's Watson's Stomach/Intestinal Tract

I deleted the post before this where I posted it late last night. This will just about Watson with a night and morning full of updates. As you see Walter has decided he is the main caretaker for Watson.

We Continue Being Busy

Time continues to fly at a rapid rate. I have been busier since my last post almost a month ago. A few of my friends have commented that it seems like I have a full-time job now. I guess I do but like 20 some years ago I enjoy the work putting listings together to sell on eBay. Results have been very positive, enough that I almost can't quit. Yet, I still have a lot of stuff here at home I am wanting to get rid of.

I've Been Busy!!

While having all different kinds of weather the past few weeks, I realized it was not the weather that made me lethargic, unmotivated and have mind that scans non stop for answers or ideas. I found out through self realization, meaning me, no counselor involved ... that I was bored ... and had been for a long time.

Is Spring Here ?????

I know it is not March yet but today sure did seem like a March or April day. 65° had me, the hounds and dogs outside on the patio for a while. Of course whenever I could come inside for water, they would get up and follow me in. Now that I am typing this, they are all taking their afternoon siesta.

The Port Of Evansville

These plates describe just this area of the Port of Evansville. It was much larger than just the Pigeon Creek area where they have built a monument and the start of the Gateway bike path in the city. It will be interesting to see in the future if the walking/bike path is maintained. The previous mayor was a bicycle enthusiast. The current mayor pulled funds back for the extension of the bike path, so it will remain to be seen.

Went To See The Ohio River

It was such a nice day at 54° that I had to get out of the house. I grabbed my camera, and headed out west right after the hounds and dogs finished their lunch. I left the patio door open just enough for them to go outside and inside as they needed or wanted to.
